Nice bike But I think your dealer is lying to you.

I believe all of the sport bike manufacturers go together a while back and came to an agreement. They would all keep the top speed of their motorcycles limited to 183MPH.

If you have a 2000 'Busa built in 1999, that one would do 200+ out of the box, but no more.

No. It does 200MPH , My Dad found out today !

Clocked by GPS, police? Speedo only shows 185.

Not to nit pick either but Cycle World did a test recently and measured the top speed at 186. Same as the Kawasaki ZX-14.

does not really matter if it's 183 or 200. Anyone who reaches these speeds while not on a track and without proper training is .....simply a NUT.
