But I think your dealer is lying to you.I believe all of the sport bike manufacturers go together a while back and came to an agreement. They would all keep the top speed of their motorcycles limited to 183MPH. If you have a 2000 'Busa built in 1999, that one would do 200+ out of the box, but no more.

does not really matter if it's 183 or 200. Anyone who reaches these speeds while not on a track and without proper training is .....simply a NUT.
