Omega speedmaster apollo soyuz 35th anniversary ltd ed meteorite dial

If you are reading this then I'm sure you already know all about this very special Speedmaster, but just in case, here are some details of this beauty:

Ref: 311.30.42.30.99.001
Case: Stainless Steel with Limited Edition Number of 1975 and special engraving on the case back.
Crystal : Sapphire
Movement: 1861 Manual Wind
Dial: Genuine Meteorite
Diameter: 42mm

This watch was produced in a Limited Edition of only 1975 Worldwide and as the dial is made of real meteorite, each watch is truly unique.
The dial is cut from a single piece of meteorite that was found in Namibia, its natural look would be the sub dials if it was in space but upon entry its gets blacked with the temperatures it endures.

Omega has cut each dial and then polished the sub dials to show its original true colour. The patterning you see is different on every watch which makes each piece unique, and how cool is it to say that a piece of your watch was from outer space!

It commemorates the 35th Anniversary of Apollo-Soyuz RDV in space during the cold war. A unique handshake over earth as the Apollo module docked with the Russian Soyuz, this is depicted on the reverse of the watch.

The watch comes complete with everything you would expect of a new watch including the Limited Edition Box Set, Warranty Card, Pictogram Card, Limited Edition Card and Limited Edition Certificate along with the spare links.

The watch has been worn very lightly, so you may find imperfections through a loupe, but to the naked eye it looks as new and the original product code sticker is still on the case back.

This watch has long been sold out at Omega and as the original price was above £5000 my asking price is very reasonable as I need to sate my thirst for a Daytona, so if you happen to have one to part exchange, please let me know.
