New Acquisition of the 5512 Type
Hey!
I am still relatively new to the forum. Here is my ew 5512. Please share your thoughts on the watch. Serial is 764XXX. Puts it in '62. PCG, chapter ring, meters first, 4line, glossy, exclamation dial. The hour hand at some point was dragged around the the center post, which has blemished the dial. It seems to be pretty common with these gloss dials. I've seen it on quite a few watches from this era that I've put hands on. How does that happen? The hands have been touched up but are original. Congrats on a great example. 5512's with gilt gloss dials, chapter rings, and pointed crown guards are beautiful watches from a bygone era. Enjoy that one.

Battle scars, patina, age, wear and tear .... it's all good. Beautiful watch with very nice lugs! And the dial/hands still glow? Wow. Congrats!!!
