GMT 116710 Bracelet Question - 4 or 5 links?

For those of you with a 7" wrist, do you use 4 or 5 links on the six hour side?

I am having a hard time getting a perfect fit. 5 links a bit too loose and 4 links a bit too snug.

Well, FWIW........I have a 216570 EXPII and a 7.25" wrist. I believe our bracelets are essentially the same, most specifically, having the Easylink feature. I have four links on the 6:00 side, six links plus the "easylink" on the 12:00 side and the microadjustment set to the center position. Fit for me is perfect.

Have you tried adjusting the micro settings inside the clasp?

I have a 7" wrist and am using five on each side with the clasp at the second-tightest position. It fits great.

Sorry for the lousy pictures. I'm no photographer. Please note in the side view with clasp open that the folding "blade" is almost perfectly level and that's what you want. It will make the clasp close to centered on your wrist if that's important to you. Bottom line for me is that this configuration of 4 and 6 with microadjust in the center position works well, feels good and looks good.

For me, 6 links on 12 o'clock side, 5 links on 6 o'clock side. I have about a 6.75" wrist.

Wow!! Apparently I've been lying to everyone about my 7.25" wrist! Just did a recheck and I'm 6.5" too. I did lose 30 pounds over the past 3 months so maybe that had an effect?? Whatever.....happy with the fit of my EXPII.

Hey Thamann - I think I'm a tweener with my DJII. 5 links on the 6 with micro on longest setting - easy link is closed and opens up is it gets hot. I have to add the 6th link in summer and move the micro to the middle.

7" wrist, and thank goodness for easy link... Good luck with yours,

I own a DSSD, hence, have big wrists. I have the BLNR.

I have 5 links at the 6 o'clock position and the easylink extended to the 5mm max.

I just bought a two tone GMT master IIc and want to make sure I got the correct number of links. How many links should it have other than the easylink and end links.

Congrats on the weight loss. I hope it was a choice on your part and not a negative health issue.
