Doesn't have to be a mutually exclusive thing. They are different watches with a common heritage. I have worn a GMT for 25 years and as soon as I get the funds together and a little depreciation with time, I will get the WG BLRO.

Great side by side picture. I prefer the new BLRO which is a lot nicer with the ceramic bezel, maxi dials, bigger hour/minute hands, solid links and the easy link clasp.
