OK, so what about the lume duration of the 114060/116610
Was really looking hard at the 14060. Hoping to snag a NOS 14060 but lume reports are really disappointing. I do use my watch at night so lume duration is important to me.
So what about the 114060/16610. Can you read the watch in the dark all night? I know they're supposed to be brighter but are they? |

Mine would be dim fairly quickly. Less than an hour.

The 114060 and the 14060 - the latter with Luminova - both keep good lume during the whole night and I have no problem reading the time 8 hours later when the room is still dark.

There are other brands with better lume. There just isn't a lot of real estate on the hands and markers for a lot of lume so it dims pretty quickly.

The lume is much better on the the ceramic subs than on the older models. I can easily tell the time at 5 am with my ceramic sub, whereas I have difficulty with my D serial yachtie and pre chromalight ceramic GMT. The same goes for my 116613 vs. Ulysse Nardin Blue Surf and Omega PO despite the latter two having acres more lume material.
I use a quick shot from a 1,000 lumen torch right before I start counting sheep to get the party going. |

Out of interest has anyone compared all the new maxi dial divers on lume output?
Thinking the 114060 and the 116610 will be indentical but what about the 116600 and the 116660? Again I'd assume the same but just wanted to confirm! |
