Submariner Crystal Replacement
Just dropped my 2012 sub and shattered the crystal. Anyone know how much it will cost to have the crystal replaced?
Thanks.. |

I just wanted to say that I'm very sorry for your accident. I don't know how much a new crystal will cost but I'm sure others who do will be along. Sometimes it feels like this stuff only happens to me. I guess we all have our "challenges ". Wishing you a quick and inexpensive (relatively) repair.

That's sucks. Be sure to hack the movement to prevent any possible damage internally.

~600 bucks for the service and cleaning to get any possible pieces out of the movement and ~200 bucks for the new crystal.. Then any ancillary parts it may need..

Depends on the damage, RSC will give an estimate before doing any work. Just because you only see a broken crystal does not mean that is the only damage.

My last crystal was an authentic service Daytona crystal from ABC Watchwerks. I believe it was $125. Unfortunately you probably need to pay the price of a full service also to be safe.

Hi, my dad shattered his crystal somehow and we sent it to Rik at TimeCare for a total overhaul and crystal replacement. He has received it and is in the process of fixing/cleaning it. I will post before and after pics when I get it back and my review! I would call Rik at timecare to get a quote.
