another counterfit tudor sub/please report
here is another of those dreaded fake tudors.
notice the swiss t<25 that tudor never used also the case back is not properly marked, wrong second hand, wrong fonts all around, even the movement on this one is a counterfeit, the caliber number should be under the cog not to the left. please report this before someone gets ripped off. cheers all. http://cgi.ebay.com/TUDOR-SUBMARINER...QQcmdZViewItem |

I dont know how you could possibly say that.do you know anything at all about the tudor 7016-0?
first off-the dial is most definitly not correct-tudor never used the swiss t<25 notation at the bottom of their dials-that was rolex.the second hand is the small circle when it should be the large version, the fonts are off.the crown guards are the one solid peice of evidence that proves it is fake-they are supposed to be tappered at the bottom like an elbow, these are not.none of the engravings look deep enough-on the case back or between the lugs.inside the case back is an obvious forgery besides the fact that it is missing the reference number, there also are not one watchmakers repair mark in it..in a 30 plus year old watch???? come on-what are you the seller? and last but certainly not least-that movement is not correct!the 2483 should be stamped below the cog wheel-not to the right of it. so tell me how it could not be a fake? |

Hi, all i can say is if Steve says a Tudor is fake- IT IS! bit i do think from the photos etc the seller does genuinely think its real- he goes into a lot of detail with pictures and would not do so if he knew he was selling a fake- well thats my opinion

Another Questionable Tudor Sub
I posted this one 4 posts above, but I seem to have got the link wrong.
Try this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=016 This certainly has all the indications of a bogus watch and the seller appears to know it. Set everything up for secrecy and no Paypal protection. Still interested in opinions on this one. I sent a message to the seller to ask about the last 3 digits of the serial number but, of course, he didn't reply.

did you notice how he made a disclaimer there,he said "I know nothing about these watches",I beleive he knows that the watch is not authentic.at least to me,it appears that the case is not authentic and the dial looks a little off.beside that-I would never buy a watch from someone who doesnt at least wash his hands before handling his watch.did you see the oil on his fingers...lol
anyway,I will check out more on this model in the coming days.I would hate to think that the chinese company making the fake subs has started to make the monte carlo as well, thank you for the heads up bhupesh. |

i agree on that one wintermutt - the model engraving looked way too new and deep - and didn't see any rub marks above it on the case (between the lugs) from bracelet wear |
