RE: Storage 116610LN

Hi

I recently purchased a new rolex 116610LN.

I had 3 links removed and I noticed when I went to store it back in the box the bracelet is quite tight around the central piece it sits on.

Just wondering is this bad for the bracelet or normal?

Only a newby to the watch world.

Thanks

No worries. the bracelet is made of steel and a foam pillow inside the watch box will certainly not harm it.

The safest place for your watch is on your wrist.

Bad for the watch to be put back in the box. Should be on your wrist! :)

Remember to squeeze the pillow and insert it into the watch and not try to clamp the watch around the pillow. That clasp may seem small, but the leverage you put into the pins and links can cause damage if it binds.

I squeezed the pillows and wrapped them in pvc film for a couple of days to make them smaller. Worked well and they're now perfect for a watch sized for a 6.5 wrist.
