Seeking advice on this extremly valuable/collectible Rolex model

I'm interested in the highly collectible Rolex BogeyKing model and would like your thoughts on it.

Do you think it's worth the extra money because Mr. Bogart never wore one and there aren't any pictures to be found of him wearing one?

As always I welcome your input.

Yes, very rare! Especially with the black Casablanca dial.

For the sake of clarity, can we establish that the aforementioned person might or might not have, could or could not have possibly or then again perhaps not.............

Yes I love my bogey king. I paid 10x the price due to the catchy nickname and the idea that it's one over par. Oh, no wait yes bogart. That's it. Now if they catch phrase would only stick so I can sell it for a profit.

I would pass on this one Mon. It should have a Mk IV dial and this one clearly is not.

it is very rare and desirable, so I've heard...

When you get it, though, you have to pass it on quickly and not 'Bogey' it for too long. Oh...no... wait... man...

There are many chips in the hash marks with some peeling on the dial. Hands appear to have been replaced. The case appears to be way over polished, spring bar poking out is evidence of this. I would wait for a nicer example.

the fact that he didn't wear it, own it, or have anything to do with it, and that it is still associated with him, is priceless in and of itself...as such, you should buy it immediately and make up all kinds of stories to boost its value.

given that I came up with this marketing tool which will enable you to make so much money, I would hope that you will share the profits with me!

We don't see these very often, a rare treat, thanks for posting but I'm sure you could do better, lugs are pretty uneven and the crown guards are way over polished...

Rule #1 buy the seller.

The Rolex BK was originally worn by the King of Burgers or the Burger King who founded a successful chain of fast food restaurants. The rumors that Mr. Bogart never wore the Rolex BK was started by the King of Burgers when he decided not let him wear the watch to a black tie event they were both attending. After this this happened they never spoke or were seen in public together again. Tragic! I would not own one, IMHO.
