New GMT Pepsi
I have spoken to many ADs this month and also a other source about Rolex releasing a GMT IIc Pepsi. All of them said Rolex has discontinued the Pepsi for good. It is strange that they had colored new Sub c but no Pepsi? These ADs sound very sure the Pepsi is dead. If so that sucks. Anybody heard different?

My AD had spoken to Rolex concerning the Ceramic Pepsi due to the sheer volume of people wanting to go onto the list for a watch which does not exist.
As I've ststed in other threads, he was told by Rolex Geneva that they could not manufacture a two tone ceramic bezel without a degree of colour bleed. Even though this bleed is hardly visible to the naked eye, it still does not offer a clean enough segregation. Due to this, Rolex will not be producing any Pepsi watches or other two tone bezels. When my Ad told Rx Geneva about the rumours concerning a hairline piece of platinum between the two colours prior to firing or a two piece insert he was simply told, "that would be the answer for lesser watch companies". You have to hand it to them, we all gripe about them sometimes but Rolex will not release something they are unhappy with, even though they could probably sell thousands of units! J |

Personally,I don`t care if they don`t release Pepsi ceramic. What makes me worried is possibility of discontinuing Pepsi GMT.And that would be a real shame...

We see M-series GMT II 16710's appearing at the AD's but as far as I know the GMT II 16710 is indeed discontinued and we are just seeing the rest of the cases leaving Rolex S.A.
