My new Sub LV

Just picked up my new Sub LV M series , and kept my old black bezel insert.
I also ordered another insert, seeing that my old one has a cracked pearl.
Watch looks great, its like having 2 watches with the extra insert.

I was absent the day that Rolex told everybody what "LV" means. Can anyone fill me in?

It's an abbreviation for ' Lunette Verde', which, presumably, describes the green bezel.

I think that the green sub is very special. It has the older style case (non-super case) and bracelet but with a maxi dial, I like it.

Thanks all, I will change the bezel out when the new insert arrives, should be in around a week or so, pics will follow. Love the Maxi dial, and the green bezel is a nice change. I asked my Ad to try and get me the bezel as well as the insert, never hurts to ask.
Hey Bo good to have you back.

Well done John. We need pics of the watch with the new black bezel and of that Deep Sea when you get it.

Unrelated note: great avatar Attila!! Who doesn't love Mr Bean, or Black Adder as it were? Jonathan
