Rolex 3135 regulation

My 3135 has always run + 25 secs a day. I am in the process of servicing this movement and was wondering will the micro Stella adjustments allow for this amount of error.
I have a generic Micro stella wrench but have never used one before.

If your 3135 runs +25 it needs a lot more than a tweak on the microstellas you need to fix that. That is WAY out for a Rolex.

Not sure if the microstella has enough adjustment for that; probably depends on where they are adjusted at already.. The 3135 can be fitted with either a stronger or weaker mainspring that can bring it closer to the center where the screws are more effective..

Microstella adjustment range in 3135 is about 150 s/d. So +25 seconds is easy to adjust with the microstellas, if the movement is otherwise in good condition and the +25 seconds is consistent.

More than likely an error in lift angle is contributing as well. I've never seen a generic micro-stella tool, mind posting a pic?

How lift angle contributes to rate? How you generate error to movements lift angle?

I think he means beat error.

The microstella screws need to be turned left to slow down. So when you engage the microstella adjuster, you start closest to you and turn away from you. For 25 seconds, you'd probably can turn it about 18 little marks (depending on your tool) on each screw.

It's the other way around. It's hard to give advise while at home taking care of kids!!

It takes quite a bit of time calibrating with the help of a timer. I can't imagine how one would do it w/o.
