Up for your consideration, it a truly outstanding Parmigiani Kalpa XL Hebdomadaire in steel. One that is out of production now.

The movement is the manual wind, 8-day fully in-house movement (c.110), and the level of finish is close to Patek. Not surprising, considering Parmigiani makes Vaucher movements for several well-known brands like Richard Mille, Corum, and Bovet. The 28-jeweled, (adjusted 5 positions) movement is actually held together by 6 bridges but without a magnifier you would never know it as 3 of the bridges are laser cut and polished to an almost zero tolerance. So the edges fit together so closely you can have to strain to see the space between them. Bridges are hand-beveled with “Côtes de Genève” decorative motif. The movement, as you can see, is finished as beautifully as the case. As mentioned, certainly to the level of, and maybe beyond some Patek’s and Vacheron’s. The production of Parmigiani watches is low – about 4,000 pieces a year.

Watch was fully serviced by Parmigiani last year at a cost of $1625. Someone is going to get a great buy on this watch. Condition: 95% - some extremely light surface scratches on the bracelet and clasp. This watch will fit an 8-inch plus wrist, as I have 2.5 extra links for the bracelet.

Dial: 3 levels. This is the most sought-after “Lilac Metal” version.

Power reserve at 12 o’clock. Sweet guilloche pattern on lavender/eggplant background. Applied rhodium plated oval ring, numerals and markers. Luminova packed into those unique rhodium plated Parmigiani “delta” hands. Large sub-seconds.



Finally, please consider the bracelet. – Subtly, masculine. Well-made double deployant with a lightly engraved logo on one outside clasp end. Even the undersides and edges of the bracelet links are polished! Just an outstanding piece!
European in its appeal, a large and substantial watch on your wrist without being overly heavy. A gorgeous dial with a color that sings. The Parmigiani bracelet is a thing of beauty I think unmatched by any brand.
