No from me!

Whilst I respect anyone's opinion and right to wear one of these watches, it's reassuring to me to see that most people on here don't like these watches. Some people genuinely like the look of them, and that's fair enough.

Overall though, I think that it shows that people on here are not into Rolex as a brand purely for status, and have a genuine enthusiasm for the Rolex brand and where it came from.

For me, it is exactly this kind of watch that made me consider NOT buying a Rolex! In my head they are a million miles away from a James Bond Sub, yet a lot of my friends picture these kinds of watches when they think of Rolex.

Even gold is a step too far for me, but I also feel it's about my personality and age - I'm 28, and I wouldn't 100% rule out a gold watch later in life when I have a few more miles on the clock and some grey hair (if there's any hair left!)!

Not for me. But I've never been a flashy guy.

I like diamonds on a watch if done well. Those look a bit excessive. I also do not like the look of them on a sports watch.

Some very good points here which sum up the views of a large segment of the watch market, including me.

BTW - I am 40 and have lots of grey hairs but still can't see myself wearing a gold Rolex.

Cheers - Simon
