Incoming!

Hi to all from Germany!

After I'm already a proud owner of a GMT 2C, a Hulk, a DJII, a DJ and a couple of other Non-Rolex watches I decided for myself to start into 2015 with a couple of new watches.

On Saturday my wife and myself will head for the local AD to buy a black No-Date Sub or a Tudor Pelagos for my wife. Costwise quite a big difference but we do like both designs and are not that much brand people but prefer to buy things which we like.

Personally, I believe that my wife is heading for the Sub (because of the Cerachrom bezel) but let's wait and see.

I wanted to buy for myself inititally a Deep-Sea with blue dial but as of today there's no chance to get one from officials AD's and even from "greys" there's basically no chance to buy it for a reasonable price. There're some units around which you're able to buy for 11.500+ Euro.

So, I started to look for 2 other watches, one was a SS Daytona with a Black Dial and for the Deep-Sea (116660) with the black dial. Again at first at the official AD's where I heard (really!) quotes like "Oh you want a Daytona SS with Black Dial? we can place you on our waiting list which is currently! (No Joke) 4! years. Also the Deep-Sea (probably driven by the general Hype about Diver watches in Germany) was only available via waiting list.

So I went back to "greys" and Surprise, Surprise every watch was available. So, I decided for the Deep-Sea for 8.550 Euro (New RRP after the price increase is 10.400.- Euro). Hopefully I'll get this Beauty tomorrow and it feels (Since a long time again) like the night before Christmas.

Would be great if you guys could also share your latest akquisitions (Preferrably in Text and Pictures).

We all know that we're all totally insane but Hey! it feels great :-)

Still not there :-( Just had a call with the dealer, they had a 1 day delay on the 116660. Saturday Sub or Pelagos still in time.

What do you guys think will my wife choose? And why?

Some support with pics welcome!

Cheers,

Michael

I think sub, not seen a Pelagos on a woman, expect she will love the ceramic bezel.
