Service in UK (or Michael Young)?

Hi fellas, I've moved to the SW of England, to Devon, from Australia. I've got a 2 line Sub 14060 that's not been serviced now for 4 years and I'm thinking it's time. Does anyone have advice who is in or visits the UK and even this area on where to service? I'm kind of loath to send it to Rolex because of cost and also the hands and dial are somewhat 'vintage' Tritium and I don't want them replaced.

Question 2: I was thinking of getting the bracelet tightened by Michael Young, and toying w/the idea of sending the watch to him too for a service. Has anyone done this? Thanks!

4 years is way too soon for a service. I'd wait 7-10 years unless there's an issue?

Thanks GolfPunk, nothing's wrong with it but I thought I read somewhere around 4 or 5 years was standard. I also wear it every day, 7 days a week.

If is running well, it's running well.
Take it to a local watchmaker.. 2 mins on one of their machines should tell you how it's running. Then you can can decide.
On a second note I would. It send my watch half way around the world for a service unless there was no other option.
After.. Send the bracelet separately and you can still wear tour watch on another strap. A NATO, leather etc.
As a for a competent watchmaker in Devon... I'm really not sure ha

4/5 years is Rolex 'recommendation' IMO they want your watch in regularly for service to charge you £500-£600 every time.

A submariner used for scuba diving on a regular basis would need every 4/5 years but not a normal dry daily wearer.

I wouldn't go over 10 years though

Diving would not increase the need for a service as such! I would say a yearly pressure test would be required to confirm seal integrity and base service around that and the normal service intervals.
