My Exp has a bunch of scratches and dings from daily wear.

I'm all for wearing your watch and not babying it - but some of the pics in here are just plain abusive (digging through the dirt?). When I'm doing something really dirty or messy, I'll strap on a G-Shock. No sense in pointlessly beating up on a watch costing several thousand $.

I like seeing the used watches, hate seeing the abused ones. Dropped, smashed, broken - bracelets that look like they were in a tug of war between two Mastiffs - they make my heart hurt.

A friend working on his lawn tractor with his GMT which he also wears on the job fighting fires. Not nearly as beat up,as some though .

My 1680 went trucking with me daily for 33 years. Typically I would wear gloves when hooking to trailers etc, but never babied it ever. Never even knew it was worth much until 1998. Purchased used in "84 for $400 overseas.
