Icon5 Tudor 94200 potential buy.

Going to take a hands-on look a this tomorrow. Comes with box and papers, buyer wants $5.1k but will probably go about ten percent lower. Does that seem ok? I'm not really very familiar with the 94200. Seems to be scarcer than its successor, the 79160. Thanks for any comments

Hey Adam, it look pretty crisp to me and I like the bakelite combination better (bias opinion that is) 😬😬😬

The case & dial looks pristine but needs a couple angles (a must for me) and the B&P is a bonus

Do hope over to tudorcollector.com for the brief history of 94xxx evolution

Thanks LV. Unfortunately the only other pic is very similar. I'm thinking of taking over my 14060m and 16570 (3186 M serial), both full sets with recent RSC papers, to see if the seller might do a straight trade for either one.

Looks like it with the Bufkor box, I guess. No idea though. Looking forward to seeing the papers!

Adam, wait for Dan Pierce. He helped me no end with my BB. From what I learned, that looks perfect. The square box around date is makes dial seem correct. I love mine both on bracelet and nato.

Adam-

That looks to be a great condition 94200 from the photos provided. As stated before Dan Pierce may chime in or send him a PM. He also helped me immensely as I pursued a search for the current 79180 Big Block I own. It is a great timepiece and unlike some critics I really enjoy the case thickness of the BB's.
You are correct in that these are much more rare than the 791XX models for sure.....don't see many 94200's for sale in really good condition.
Good Luck.

From the limited pics and info it looks good to me. I installed a 94200 dial on my 79270P. The angled hour markers and date window surround are telltale signs of an early Big Block.
Great looking watch, good luck!
