Can you help me ID this Rolex?
Was not able to pop the case back off while visiting with a buddy of mine, but he purchased this a few years ago from a trusted reseller and wanted to know more info about it. Rolex is out of my realm of expertise, so would appreciate any input. Thanks!

Looks like a 1930's model. YG maybe? Dial shows it age a bit but I would have it cleaned up and wear it. Does it run?

It runs very well, just trying to get an idea of age. Not going to ask value here, but wanted to know more about movement to research this more.

It's more likely from the mid-late '40s, judging by the dial and case style. Probably solid 14K (will have the hallmark on the inner case back).
