Radial 1675

Hi All,

After my purchase of a 16800 last month I have been on the look out for a 1675 to compliment. I think I have found a nice one being sold locally. I am wondering your thoughts before pulling the trigger. Here are some pics.

Thanks!

Nice patina with matchig hands. Closer shots would be helpful for noticing any sort of taint or damage on the dial. It looks good in general but cant really comment on the case from these pictures. I believe the serial for mk3-minidials should be roughly around 3mil/5mil range.

3 million is way early for radial dials in my opinion. If it matters my general rule is 4x to 5x, maybe a give a little either way.

The earliest/latest range i have come across in internet archives are between 4.2mil and 5.2mil - But there is some information at Orchi's thread mentioning the serial range between 3.5mil to 4mil, so i thought he might have seen some at 3mil range since he had written that information.

Orchi's thread? That was some good, basic info at one time, but there were a few dials mislabeled and incorrect time frames given for some dials in that thread.

As far as Orchi's comment on radials, most that I know in the GMT circles consider radials in the 4x to 5x range.

Very interesting,John.
Thats a much tighter serial range than I thought.
What do you think a rough time line between 4xx-5xx.....two-three years?

Have to disagree. Mine's a 3.7. I know of an original owner with a 3.3mil serial.

Congratulations. I saw one sold here a few months ago with a 5,6XXXXX. Everyone wants a radial GMT!
