I'm loving the sheer quality of both my 15400 and my Diver.

I'm not sure where you're coming from. I feel the brand is as strong as ever.

Nowhere in particular. Just the sense I got reading around lately, which might very well be wrong. Certainly not my feelings. As I said, my favorite brand by a long shot.

It seems like if it wasn't for the RO/ROO, AP might be irrelevant. :(

BTW, I am rocking my 15400 today.

Do I sense some falling out of love with the manufacture?

I'm still enjoying my AP ROO's - also I find the servicing/after sales to be the best in the business IMO, which means a lot to me.
I am hoping for some 42mm ROO with ceramic bez and a RG diver would be nice - not holding my breath though!

IMHO the Millenary series does look good but are gargantuan in size. And I'm guessing that the Jules Audemars series gets serious competition from Patek

Actually, in truth AP is very much a one product line company, ie the RO and all it's derivatives. If one differentiates between RO and ROO ( and there are many differences and target different niches ), then there are two product lines and both phenomenally successful. I have never heard any one paying attention to the other product lines like Millenary or JA etc.. Most ADs are obligated to stock them but they just lie on the shelves with hardly anyone buying them and are often heavily discounted.

It does seem like this TRF sub-forum has slowed down a lot, both in terms of posts and incomings, with a lot more action in the Patek forum, but I don't think that's indicative of lost passion for AP, just a limited market that changes focus from time to time.

What about a 44mm safari, that would be wicked
I agree and don't think the bedazzled 44mm ones really count as an option for most. I absolutely love the look of the 44mm like the 26400/26402, but there's just no way I can pull off that size (my 39mm ROC is perfect for me), so sadly, that limits my future AP purchase options. Even 42mm is really pushing it. So I wonder how many potential customers are looking elsewhere like Patek (which seems to be on fire here at TRF).

I have just started appreciating AP recently. Had been Panerai + Rolex prior. I started looking at PP and AP end of last year. PP seemed so exclusive and rather pricy. The Nautilus 5711 is an amazing design. Was also interested in the design of the RO. Once I had one on the wrist I realized what a classic the 15400 is. After doing research on AP as a brand I thought it seemed very strong. I am too early into it to see if there are any changes in brand perception. Sure seems strong to me. Have seen this discussed on other brand forums and wonder if the high end watch market may be slowing in general?

Not at all

AP will always be Timeless! Panerai is losing steam big time, Rolex nice but everybody has one. I'm enjoying my forged carbon diver and 44 novelty in SS and RG.

There are only so many PM models which are what interest me but AP as a brand is one if my favorites

Personally I love AP, but way to many APs seem to go back to AP for warranty issues, that is something I would not expect from a high-end brand as AP.

I think that prevent alot of buyers to buy AP...

Myself is fed up with Rolex at the moment (could change) and feel that I much rather buy Omega right now instead of Rolex, love the DSOTM, AT Chrono etc..

Since I bought my first Hublot a while back (sold) I really want to try a Big Bang...

let's say that IMO AP is interesting because of their RO and ROO lines, basically the only incomings I see here, whereas PP has a lot of great pieces other than Nautilus or Aquanaut, and there are other incomings than those on the PP forum
