Dare I?
So I stop by one of the AD in the mall the other day when this beauty caught my I.
It's is discounted as they are having trouble moving the watch I guess but my question is why? According to the salesmen it has an older movement (not in-house movement) so my question is are the older omega movements reliable? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think later 33xx movements are generally considered reliable and from an AD you'd get the full 3 years of warranty so it wouldn't be much of a concern.
My guess as to why the watch hasn't moved is that the model is discontinued, replaced with the cal. 9300 '57 series. It was kind of a niche offering to begin with, and now it has been redesigned with a model that has a micro adjusting clasp and in house movement with 4 year warranty. So a lot of the people that would have wanted that model might otherwise go for the newer version. Having said (rather, typed) all that, it's a great looking watch and if the price is right and you like it you should go for it! |
