New Deployment Buckle

I just called AP in Clearwater and they advised me that in a few weeks a new deployment buckle is being released that will fit the current 42mm 26400 strap watches. It will be released in gold and stainless.

Price will be as follows:

Stainless $694
Gold $3376

Screenshots coming from a video AP is sending me!

Its a folding buckle that clips with two blades.

I was told 42 chrono not 44, I believe he said 18mm so if the diver buckle is 18mm then it will work.

Unfortunately it is the stamped AP blades....I dont like those :( still getting it as it beats buckle for me!

Interesting, I've been wanting to switch to a deployment as I'm not really liking the tang on my ROO. This might be a dumb question but will I need to buy a new strap to go with that clasp as well or can AP fit it to the strap that came with the watch?
