Welcome to TRF. You need to post pics, for one thing. For another, where did you buy it; do you have papers? A YM for $400 is more than likely a fake unless you stole it.

Like I said in your other thread...it's a FAKE. YM's never came with see thru backs....and you could have bought 4 of those exact same replicas in Mexico..and still had enough money for a Margarita party!

Sorry................

I've seen this post hijacked in other posts numerous times. Go out to an authorized dealer today and buy a genuine Rolex complete with the new plastic warranty card, genuine Rolex box, polishing cloth, papers, receipt, etc. and you can be posting a genuine Rolex rather than a:

FAKE, FAKE, FAKE,

Then we will be congratulating you on your genuine watch rather than hearing about or seeing this God-awful FAKE!

I know. I hate being ripped off or seeing anyone else get ripped off. That is why I spend a lot of time in the "Watch Out" section as I report all the time and warn winners on E-bay that they've won a genuine fake so they can get out of it before getting stung. I've even filed an FBI/Internet Crime report on a couple of fake sites as I feel that passionately about people getting scammed. We all work too hard for the money we get.

My only issue here is that threads were hijacked several times and everyone has said the same thing. He needs to move on and buy a real Rolex. Then, like I said, we will all congratulate him on his fine, genuine Rolex.

It's not only people getting scammed, the whole counterfeit product industry including watches, handbags, clothing helps support international crime syndicates as well as terrorism.

As long as there are buyers outside there, nobody can't stop counterfeit. Same like prostitution. Never blame the workers. Blame the users.

I think he's entering one of these psychological phases:
shock, denial, anger, calm, forget.
He's in denial phase.

Wrong comparison. When one visits a brothel, he knows exactly what services he will get, just ask Eliot!
When one buys a fake, in the belief that it's real, it's a con job.

You are right (wrong comparison) when you are referring to a counterfeit sold closed to original price. But if we are talking about counterfeit sold for less than 100 USD, maybe 99% (I can not say 100%) will know that they are buying a counterfit. Still they buy it. I am working as a Sales Manager for a product in which we have to fight to so many counterfeit. But then, a lot of my salesmen are wearing counterfeit watches. Ironic.
