Dj ii wg

Dear all,

Need your expertise on this, I'm looking for the DJ II in WG only due to fluted bezel that I enjoy more, if not would go for steel.

On Rolex webpage it says, case of white gold and steel and bracelet of steel.

Which part of the case is WG or steel, shouldn't the case be of a single material, being a single piece, or for example only the bezel is white gold and the case it self is steel.

Other question, I know nobody does the answer for sure, but would like to ear your opinion, will rolex gradually use the new movement 3255 in other watches or will have to wait year after year to Baselwords to come so they announce it for every model.

Thank you

The only part of the watch that is WG is the Fluted bezel and numbers on the dial.

The case is SS and the bezel is WG. As far as the movement, only Rolex knows. If they do trickle down, I think you're looking at next Basel as the soonest, with maybe 2-3 years down the road at the latest.

The DJ only has a WG fluted bezel and I also think the hands and hour markers are WG. The smooth bezel models have a steel bezel. The watch case and bracelet are steel also. If you want a full WG watch you will need to go for a DayDate but you wull be looking at about 4 times the price.

I think the new movement will trickle through the model lines eventually
