Incoming!!!
This has been a long winding road to get here. I decided to celebrate a personal accomplishment of my book being published with a Rolex. I very much like the old sunburst blue subs, but all the ones I found were in rough shape and were asking more than they were worth, and included one counterfeit! The only reason I knew any of this was from the members on this forum. Lot's of people here helped me tremendously. To all of you, members and mods alike, THANK YOU!
I started looking around Vegas at the A.D.s there, I was somewhat disappointed actually. Not at all what I expected, prices high, too many sales "tactics."
Then one of the members here suggested their A.D. in Washington State at Alvin Goldfarb, and gave me a contact name of Katie Bristol. This lady ROCKS! What else can you say about a woman that wears a Sub? Katie gave me more of the "Rolex Experience" on the phone, 1400 miles away than 3 A.D.s combined did in Las Vegas! I gotta say, she was great! I don't think it's in her to disappoint. Hardcore honest. I can appreciate that.
So as of this morning, I am assured I have purchased one 116710BLNR. Working in two time zones, it will come in handy.
I'll post some pics when it gets here.

It's called "Misadventures of a Teenage Gunrunner" It's available on Amazon in paperback and e book. It's basically about a wild kid left to his own devices and winds up smuggling arms into Central America.
