Icon3 QEII Cup 2015 LE - 200 pieces - Ti ROC

i may have missed this being posted about, but, here goes (& i know the bottom picture is pretty huge, but, i think it's worth it ):

"Limited to 200 pieces only, Audemars Piguet commemorates their 17th year of sponsorship of the QEII Cup in Hong Kong with a titanium Royal Oak Chronograph. The QEII Cup has been there since 1975 already and was established because of the visit of Queen Elizabeth II in that year to Hong Kong. Since 1999, Audemars Piguet is the title sponsor of this race that’s being held during spring season."

Cool watch, but I've always thought these limited editions degrade from the Brand value.

Yeah but it's the 17th anniversary! It has to be commemorated.

Great blown up picture I needed that for my 15400, breathing on it put its first scratch on. Not sure if Titanium is better or worse for tell tale scratches and dings that plague RO's.

I am not massive on limited edition watches, as a stand alone watch it is nice.

I was going to do a post on this so Im glad TRF conglomerate is already on it. Such a mistake to do this a LE only. Where would one buy this? AP site doesnt say if its HK Boutique only or event sales only, ect. Its one of the best looking ROCs IMO.

I really like it! I wonder if it will be HK IFC Boutique only?? If it is, I won't get one, if my AD can get one, I will!

Good thing also is hopefully this opens up more OEM strap options for the regular production models.
