I won't wear it when I need to go to certain parts of Mexico City for very obvious reasons, but I can safely wear one 90% of the time!

I also won't wear mine if I have a high likely hood of losing it for example when sailing or surfing. These are both past times that could cause the bracelet or pins to break.

I wear a Rolex most of the time, but I have other watches that like to wear.

Rolex is my only luxury brand, so the rest of my watches are relatively inexpensive, ranging from about $25 to about $500.

I had a car sales manager once say to me..."This guy (referring to me) is busting my chops over $35 a month difference and he's wearing a Rolex." My response was, "Yep, and the reduced monthly payment is why I can wear one." I got the $35 off per month.
My wife said the same thing to a salesman once.

This is actually a salient point as we know many of these salespeople do look down on Rolex, so it depends how you want to play them... to get the best price of course

I crawled around in the dirt for an hour after the day was over and found it. I had to order a new spring but recovered it. That was nearly an expensive lesson. Now, I wear my issued Garmin Fenix 2 during missions and training, and wear the Roley the rest of the time ;).

Fenix 2 battery is able tom last for your missions? I can barely get mine to last one day in the suburbs.

Are there times when you don't wear your Rolex?
