Decisions, Decisions, Decisions

I am looking to pull the trigger on my next watch in the coming weeks and I have a tough decision to make.

I am torn between a 16570 or a PAM 48. I really love both of these watches and unfortunately I cannot get them both (trust me if I could, I would)

can anyone advise on re-sell values (I don't plan on getting rid of it any time soon but always good to know) and anyone's experience with both watches.

I currently have a Rolex Date, Breitling Colt & Omega Constellation so the PAM would fit in nice as I don't have anything like that currently in my collection but I can also make the same argument for the Polar.

I turn to you almighty watch aficionados for some guidance and thoughts.

if you buy right, either will be fine for flipping. in general, a 48 will be harder to flip, because 40mm is not a traditional PAM size, though. also, posting this in the rolex forum, very few will be pro-48 .

personally, i had a 16570 white M-seriel that i managed to move after two years for 95% of the MSRP...also, when looking at panerai, for me, i quickly decided that 44mm worked better than 40mm.

best way to avoid any potential "flipper's tax", however, is to buy what you like most.

Unless you have very small wrists, I wouldn't go with a 40mm PAM. It kind of defeats the whole purpose of a Panerai, imo.

I've always thought the Polar is one of the more distinctive watches Rolex makes...so it would get my vote.
