1st time buyer, can not find the Rolex I want, need assistance!

1st time Rolex buyer, hopefully soon, but I can not seem to find the watch I want. I plan on buying a Rolex for an upcoming milestone in my life and then passing the Rolex on down to my child. My tastes are simple, I need a watch that is exactly like the pic below, but the watch below is only 34mm which is too small for my wrist. I do like the new 2015 Oysters since they are 39mm's, and the blue face dial Oyster is stunning, but there is no 3/6/9 on the dial and the green dots, well to each their own, but I do not like the look with the green dots.

So question to you all is, is there a Rolex, like the one pictured below, that comes in a larger wrist size? I can not seem to find one. To me this watch below is perfection, 3/6/9 on the dial and a large crown on top. No day, no cyclops dates, just pure simplistic Rolex beauty. The Rolex Explorer is a close second but I wanted a blue face dial and a crown at the very top. Am I being to picky or since I am buying an expensive watch should I never settle?

Any and all thoughts welcome. Thank you in advance!

The Explorer I is 39mm and comes close to what you want but with a black dial only.

.

New OP 39 could come with other dials than the 3 we saw at Basel 2015. Only Rolex knows actually but it will soon become available at AD's shop.

Echo the two comments above. Additionally, you might want to wait a year and see if the DJ2 follows DD40 case size.

That watch does exist in 36mm which is a good size and will be a heck of a lot cheaper than the 39's coming out.

It does exist in 36mm with the 3/69 on the dial, large crown at the top, and a blue coloured dial? I must have over looked it on their website as I couldn't find any other size.

Rolex does not list every dial on the website. You will be best served by going to an AD and taking a look at the 2015 catalog.

thank you for the information. Being fairly new here I just assumed that all the Rolex colours for each watch would be listed on their website.
