GMTc has a totally different bezel mechanism. It does not use springs like the subc does

Compared to the older aluminum insert bezel the ceramic is a completely different system. The ceramic insert sits on 3 spring loaded ball bearings and a spring loaded click stop these are drillings in the case ring. But IMHO this tiny movement up and down especially if you dive could be a design flaw.So if you dive very important to rinse well after in fresh water just encase small items like sand get under bezel.

Normal - think of it as shock-absorption(!)
