Congrats!

How are you finding the battery life?
lasts the whole day but drains the phone battery as it does the heavy lifting

I mostly have my cell plugged in and wear the watch in the office

if going on a 2-4 hour bike ride make sure all fully charged before I go cause the GPS eats the phone battery

no just have to have the two in blue tooth range

I don't know the outside range yet but works throughout my office buildings

on bike rides I put the phone in my pack

the watch shows you HR (with no strap) calories, pace, distance and darn near everything you can think of

and if you want to see your email and text messages while you are running ya doing have to mess with getting the phone out, a glance and you see them, gotta tell ya for some people this has got to be pretty darn cool!!

Ok update for ya

After a few runs the watch remembers your strides so if you run WITHOUT your iPhone it still gives you pretty darn accurate times and distance!

Yep, total Apple fanboy. I have an iPhone, iPad, MBP, iMac, Thunderbolt display, Apple TVs, Time Capsule, Airport Expresses and iPods. However, I have no use for Apple Watch.

Several reasons; I don't see the point of a watch that has to be charged every day and the use of such a device mullers the battery of my iPhone (according to a very good review posted here a few days back).

I'm on 24 hour call, even when I'm on holiday. It's bad enough having to have my phone with me on the beach but to have a watch squawking at me as well? Seriously, no thanks.

I'm not convinced of the need, nor do I subscribe to the desire, to have a wrist device telling me who's calling, mailing or messaging me when I can just take my phone out of my pocket.

I'm very new to Rolex but I've wanted a black Submariner since I first knowingly clapped eyes on one about 25 years ago. Apart from me still not having a black Sub (), there is no way I would leave any one my Rolexes on my bedside table while I wear an Apple Watch instead.

In short, I cannot think of any reason for me to own or wear one.

Please do not misunderstand me here; I'm not knocking or criticising the Apple Watch in any shape or form. Apart from being a fanboy through and through, who am I to judge someone else's choice of wrist (or any other) apparel? It's just not for me, that's all.

Very nice, Dr. Tom.

Siri also uses the phrase "i'm not sure what you said" on me quite a bit, too. Except she calls me Larry.

Tom,
Nice buy.

Want me to keep your 116619LB safe while you wear the Apple watch?

Good for you Dr. Kerr ...... I've been looking and trying to decide which one to buy. My iPhone 6plus is the space grey color so I'm thinking that's the one I'm going with, however was there something that made you choose one model versus another that someone like myself should keep in mind?

Thanks for any input you can give.

since I use it for mostly sport, went with sport model, not super expensive, good band and I like the matt aluminum vs polished steel
