I got my second Rolex today (a Sub to be the "sport" watch, while the DJ is the "work" watch). So I guess I'm now a Rolex collector. In addition to the two Rolexi, I have six other watches of different brands that are worn at various times.

Nope. Rolex has its appeal but so do other brands. Thierry Stern sums it up best: "When you love watches, you cannot only love one brand"

Strong words from PP's president.

By a mile. But I agree, too many nice watches. The new Omega Seamaster(unreleased), AP Diver, my Polar v800.....watches are cool.

Only Rolex for me right now. I would love to have PP Nautilus , but then again if I had that cash I'd probably buy a precious metal Rolex.

No Rolex for me currently. I like variety too much.

During the early nineties I was able to visit many of the great watch manufacturers. So I have many different brands including Patek, Franck Muller, Cartier, Omega, and IWC. Rolex appeals to me more than any others because of their looks and durability.

Rolex & PP are the lion's share. Have 1 VC dress watch and kept a Cartier my parents gave me for High School graduation. Had a bunch of AP's but dumped them for 1 big PP. Rolex is my true love though...

For now Rolex only. Never thought I'd be able to have one, let alone a collection. The brand means a lot to me.

Not only just Rolex, but I'm in the midst of selling off my other watches, so I'll only have one watch, period. I like the romantic notion of wearing only one watch everyday until I croak: Sub Date.

Only Rolex will be so boring to me, because it is tough like a tank.

I have more Rolex watches than anything else. I have bought them for being my fave brand not for collecting purpose

If you sold off your Rolex-es for one haute horology watch it might not be the worst idea ever

Never
There are soooooo many awesome watches out there.
But - I know I will always have at least one Rolex. I don't think I can say that for any other brand
