Which President?

I have been obsessing over President's since trying to buy one at the Glamorous Day Date auction at Phillips. There are several choices as I have found some great deals on several watches even though I REALLY wanted the Jasper dial watch that just sold. I still have my Lapis Dial DD but want to add to the stable as I recall have been embracing the fact that the DD truly is one of my all time favorites. There is NOTHING like wearing a DD. I am going to trade a 2008 no holes Blue Sub with boys & papers. So here are some options...

1)I found an awesome deal on an "estate" Rose DD with white Roman dial that still has the stickers on it so its basically new.

2)A WG DD with Ice Blue stick dial

3)A YG with Green sunburst dial like on the strap watches

4)Continue the hunt for another super mint Jasper vintage single quick or double quick...

What do you guys think? Hope all are having a great weekend.

Congrats. 2 I guess. Although I'm not a big fan of the glacier paired with obviously not a platinum piece. It's an awesome dial no question and I would choose the stick for sure.

hear you but all of these options leave me with about a $4-5k outlay which is my budget right now. I have owned both a WG DD with Ice Blue Dial and a PT with Ice blue dial. I actually had better luck wearing the WG and being superstitcous I think i'll stick with WG if I go the white metal path. :-)

That's all great to hear and nice to meet you. I have a WG DD with rhodium and almost never wear it.

The yellow gold Day Date is the most iconic...

Yes I agree. If you can only have one DD, it has to be yellow gold.

As for dials, my choice would be white Roman or the closest possible.

Number 1 of your choices. This is my favorite option for the Day-Date II.

Ice blue is only available for platinum models and looks very strange in modified WG watches.

Yes, but as PT and WG have slightly different colors it is much nicer in the PT version.
