Ratio of Counterfeit to Authentic Rolexes in the wild?
What do you think is the ratio of counterfeit Rolexes to authentic Rolexes out in the wild?
I've heard different numbers casually dropped. Some of the speculation I have seen is hard to swallow, like 9 to 1. I've also seen speculation suggesting 5 to 1. Both those ratios seem off to me, but admittedly I don't really have much to go on. I know there are many fakes out there, but I really have no instinct for what the ratio is. I know that nobody can say for sure, but I was interested in your folks' thoughts on the matter.
