I would go with the Rolex clasp. A tang buckle increases the chance of you dropping it when taking it off or putting it on dramatically!

I agree with Subtona, the tang design sucks. I'm surprised Rubber B can get the strap design nailed and fail so badly on a simple buckle that a $15 strap gets right. They fail to properly angle the buckle so the part that spans the strap doesn't lay flat, it sticks up rather awkwardly. Fortunately, it is not hard to find a replacement buckle that fits properly for $5 to $10.
Rubber B: if you are following the forum, take note. |

I would prefer to just add an aftermarket deployant clasp, which would give similar convenience of the OEM clasp
The tang clasp is what I'd opt for, otherwise.

I have the version used for the Rolex clasp.
But I think I would prefer the tang. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

think the clasp looks better ,, but to make swapping fast and easy , you would need to buy another clasp to go with the strap , making the rubber a very expensive option , i always fear dropping a watch with an open ended strap , no probs with a clasp ,,,,just my thoughts

RHD deployant fits the tang RubberB nicely. So it's an option for those who do not want to use the Rolex clasp.

I say source an OEM Rolex clasp so you aren't messing with your Rolex bracelet and then you have two ready to go strap options.

As I stated earlier the RHD deployant works well with the RubberB tang buckle strap. Just pop off the tang buckle and affix the RHD. If you intend to go this route the proper size deployant is 18 mm.
Here is an image I found of the RubberB tang buckle strap with an RHD deployant. |

I voted tang since it's mostly unseen and easier to switch back to the bracelet.

I wish they made a shorter 6 o'clock strap. I have trouble getting the tang buckle or the clasp centered.
