Panerai Selection

Question for the group, if I where to only have one Panerai in my rotation, yes your probably saying that's crazy I'll want more! But if I where to have only one and my requirements where:

44mm
stainless steel
1950 case
domed crystal
manual wind

Is my best option a 233 regardless of weather I want GMT or not? Thanks in advance.

233 - It is hard to go wrong with the domed glass and sleek fiddy case.. SOLID.

Tough to beat the 233, but you could look at the 311 or 317, too, with a couple others if you want PM.

No matter if it's your only PAM or one of many, get the one one now that you like most.

Has to be 233. I asked myself the very same question and ended up with my 233 until I bumped the case size up to 47mm.

^thanks. 47 is above my tolerance. 233 sounds like the way to go.

233 is the way to go at 44mm.

If you do go to 47mm then the 422 comes into play, or the 372 if you want a Base model (two hands only).

Probably 233. I'd own one, except the damn fang just bothers me.

I think this is your best and ONLY option that checks all your boxes...

Aside from that 212, 213 are the next closest in terms of looks but are not manual.

233 is an excellent choice.
