FS: Rolex Submariner ref. 5513 ‘Meters First’

Up for sale is a superb example of the iconic ref. 5513 Rolex Submariner ‘Meters First ‘ (1.7M Serial #) in excellent condition. This quintessential vintage reference is becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially in this exemplary condition.

Details:

Dial: The original “Meters First” dial is in excellent condition with a gorgeous and perfectly even dark cream patina and matching hands. The dial and lume plots are 100% untouched. Any sorts of blemishes that may appear in the photos are tiny scratches or lint on the crystal and not on the actual dial.

Case: Stainless steel case is thick with visible chamfers on the lugs. Reference and serial numbers are perfectly visible on the case. Bezel insert has faded to a gorgeous gray hue complimenting the overall vintage character of the watch.

Bracelet/Strap: The watch comes fitted with a hand stitched leather strap.

Additional: The watch currently runs well but service history is unknown. No other accessories are included with the watch.

Asking $8,480 by wire (or check deposited to my Chase Bank account) shipped and insured within the US or face to face in the Los Angeles area. International shipping available at an additional cost.

Returns only accepted within 3 days of receipt if item is not as described and is returned in the same exact condition as it was originally sold. Refunds will be considered upon a full inspection and will amount to the purchase price minus shipping and handling costs.
