Love both watches, but I was somewhat miffed about the nicer quality of the Tudor box. Don't mean to rain on your parade...

No rain here brother. I couldn't agree more. The Tudor box trumps the Rolex box every day of the week.

I have the no date Sub and the same Black Bay. Two classic watches that you have!

You should do a comparison of the two side by side with your thoughts after you wear both for awhile. I'm interested to hear your thoughts if you feel the Rolex is worth the price difference.

My initial reaction is that the Tudor has more character and personality, while the Rolex is more simple and to the point. I don't find myself admiring all the well thought out details on the sub like I do the BB.

I also find the BB to be slightly more comfortable on the bracelet than the sub. It feels more balanced with the wider bracelet and smaller clasp. It allows the weight to be more evenly distributed across the entire wrist where the sub feels more top heavy and has a tendency to want to roll around a bit more. Both a spectacular, but I'm very surprised this far with the BB.

I see that you have the bracelet and leather on the BB.
Did you buy it on bracelet and also buy the leather strap at the AD at the same time?

Yes I wanted to have all options available for the watch. I also tossed it on a bund from a Ranger but the look wasn't appealing to my taste so I opted to pass.

Cool, I would love to get the BB Blue with Bracelet and leather strap too. Some day

BB again today...that's 3 of the last 4 days! Is it bad that I actually enjoy wearing it a bit more than the sub 😯

Yeah, the flat back of the BB also makes it more comfortable than the Sub's more concave caseback. It sits and stays
