Explorer i, 36mm
I have an Explorer i from the mid to late 90's. I notice on my other Rolex watches that when I am setting the time I spin the crown clockwise to advance time, but on my Explorer i it is the opposite (I have to spin the crown counter-clockwise to advance time. Is this normal? I'm 99% sure the watch is real as I bought from a jeweler and everything else checks out. I also have original box, paperwork, and certificate. Thanks!

Yes it's normal. The older movements only had one intermediate setting wheel as opposed to the two in a 31xx movement.
