Greetings, From Vancouver!
Hello All.
As you can tell, I'm new here. I've always liked watches, but I really came to love them when I started working at a fine jeweler here in Vancouver. We were an AD for Omega, Cartier, B&M, Gevril, Dior, Gucci, Bvlgari, Concord and Tag Heuer. Within less than 2 months of being there I was tops in the store for Watch Sales and was running the Watch Department. Though we didn't sell Rolex, we had a sister store that did. Unfortunately, due to high demand, we were not allowed to get an employee discount on Rolexes The watch brand that captivates me most is Vacheron Constantin. Other favourites include Rolex, Omega, Ulysse and Hublot. I think the Concord C1s are quite sharp as well, and surprisingly comfortable for their size. Right now I don't own any high end watches. The best I have is a Guess Watch with a Rose gold case, which cost about $600. It has an ETA movement at least. :-\ But, them's the breaks when you're trying to save for a wedding. Anyhow, I'm glad to find such an active and friendly watch forum! |

Welcome man (it may if you wish enhance your personal experience to put your first name in your profile).
We like all quality watches here and I don't think anyone is without some desires on having a new watch of some sort at some point. I respect that you have responsibilities and that your impending marriage is a significant financial commitment. Anyway, there is lots and lots of fun and interesting things to do on this forum, so I hope you will join in more often. Sounds like you are knocking them down in watch sales at your shop, so maybe a Rolex bonus would be something your employer may consider

Most of us started with our very first Citizen, Seiko, Hamilton, Swiss Army, etc. when we were kids and got our first watch.
Welcome to the forum. After being here for a short while you'll find a Rolex on your wrist. The first of many brands. Terry Newton
