Would a rubber accordion strap look good on a 111?

Debating...

I have a deployant standard rubber ( panerai text) strap, but thinking of the accordion / tang buckle set up.

I like the old one better, but Joe wrote this up a bit ago on his evil zero.

Thx Mik.

Hmm. Yeah. The accordion may be best for Subs.

Go with the rubber accordion strap. You will not go back to the old one. Comfort is the name of the game!!!

the rubber accordion is definitely nicer/better than the older model rubber strap, however i agree that it is best suited for submersibles.

I like the accordion rubber, but I think it wouldn't look right on a 111, as it would overwhelm the watch.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but this is the one I found when Googling this question for myself and wanted to add to it in case someone has the same question.

I now have the accordian style rubber, the "old" OEM rubber, and the Isofrane for my PAM 111 and 176. In terms of looks, I prefer old OEM > Isofrane > accordian. In terms of comfort, it's Isofrane > accordian > old OEM. I typically use the Isofrane on the 176 and the old OEM on 111. Maybe the accordian will find it's mate with a diver!
