Question on green and red date wheels
I am thinking about personalizing a Sub50 16610LV with a mod to a green date wheel.
Has anyone here done it? I saw red date wheels on YM, might these be factory original or mods? Are the coloured date wheels Rolex original parts, and can be switched into any of the 40mm sports models? There are also roulette (red/black) date wheels, they should look amazing on DJ or MG.

Both green and red are factory original. The red can be seen on the 116234 with the concentric dial while the green I've seen on the TOG limited edition for Japan

The green date wheel can also be sourced from the GMT 116718.

Looks great on the LV I have a roulette on my YM, green on my GMT and an all red on my DSSD. Bought them on the forum from Ommsen and ViperB, very smooth transactions
Just go for it, nice mod and easy to reverse

Cool mod. I wish Rolex would either loosen up on the parts to make this a little more affordable or offer some different options from the factory.
We all know that's not going to happen, though. |

It's not easy to see on those blurred pics.

For your defense at least the date wheel are in focus.
