Ok, I figured out the youtube way but is it possible to embed a video in a post? But not one hosted at youtube one hosted at another location such as http://www.mydomain.com/test.wmv??

Thanks Dave, as I thought, one can only embed from youtube, never mind, more than one way to skin a cat!

I have a feeling there might be a way in the html tags, might have to have a play around :-)

You cannot embed youtube on forum to many virus and malware are spread via places like youtube but can play direct link from youtube on there server...

youtube isn t a problem ,my question was concerning google+ , I can t link that ,
like this due to a certain reason the domain was replaced with stars after posted-the domain is *******

Same applies to any embed video not direct on forum but via a link then its up to members to decide whether to click link to view.
