Watch not working after winding please advise

Usually I wind my pam 183 till I get to the catch point so I know it's fully wound. This morning it was winding for what seemed abit too long, suddenly there was a small pop and the watch stopped running. I wonder if I overwound it if that's even possible. Usually there is a stop/catch point. It felt like it almost popped over the catch point

You must have broke the main spring.

I broke the mainspring of my old PAM112, cost less than 100 USD to have it fixed at my AD...
