Unless you were spamming or abusive.... Ordinarily people request posts to be deleted and the general of the forum is not to do so. So I am confident there is some other explanation other than posts simply being deleted.

If it's been a while since the "missing" posts were made, and they were all made on some of the post-count-generating threads, such as the half million post Three Word Thread and others, those threads were binned because of misuse and all posts on them would have been eliminated..
There are other Threads that have been binned because of misuse too, so all of us who posted to them also lost "post count".
