Gold/ Two Tone Bracelet Question
When did Rolex go to solid center links in the all gold or two tone SUB, GMTII, YM, and Daytona.
Was the Datejust the last models to go to solid center links?

With the new models
When the new GMTII with Ceramic bezel came out I think it was the first GMT to have them and similarly the latest subs must have them. So last year for the GMT and this year for the Sub. I believe that is the case but anyone feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

TT and SS Submariners still have hollow center links.

That surprises me, I figured the tool watches had solid center links now. Do the all gold subs have solid center links?

That's a beautiful YG Sub. It might not weight a Ton but more like 220 grams.
BTW.: It was the first Sub Date to get the RBR.

Wow, that all gold Sub is the bomb. I am afraid if I wanted to own a sub, I would have to wait until I could afford one like the above.

Mort, you thinking about one too?I have been toying with going for either a all gold sub or GMT.Not sure I like the crown on the GMT as much as the Sub and I like the GMT clasp better. That 18K Sub looks real sharp Larry,I thought they had solid lugs(after what series F?).Which weighs more in 18K the Sub or GMT? I enjoy my, DD and I think next one will be one of those two in all gold (as long as that USO and UNG keep climbing!). Dave |
