Has anyone here modded their 116710 to have a more pronounced crystal. I just love the look of a Rolex crystal sticking above the bezel. Thoughts? This is my only gripe with my watch. Boring!

Thats one of the many downfalls of a raised crystal above the bezel it can chip very easy on the edges especially in today's modern sapphire crystals, now a acrylic crystal that would be more suited as raised.
