You need one with a watchmaker on staff, otherwise they will send it out to be done.

Wynn's Resort has a Boutique with a watchmaker..

So educate me please.

If I were to buy my watch from an AD, took it to another AD to get it sized, I would expect to pay for it. (They might not charge me) But still I would expect to pay for it just the same as I did not buy from them.

Now if I took it to a Boutique, I would not expect to be charged for a bracelet sizing because I thought that was Rolex taking care of their product.

Just learned that Boutiques are just owned by ADs, right? They are not owned by Rolex but just a devoted separate section off of the ADs main store?

So does that mean if I did not buy from there from that Boutique, I should be expecting to pay a nominal amount to get a Rolex sized. I think BB charges $15.

It would make sense because the AD has the cost of paying the watchmaker and not Rolex.

Thanks.

Re: getting charged. It all depends. Never asked the folks at Wynn to do anything for me...if the watchmaker was not slammed he might do it for you - but expect to pay. Everyone has to pay the rent.

Thanks, that is what I thought after I found our boutiques are not Rolex owned.
